What happens in the room
Dr. Harun starts with your story: what you have noticed, how long it has been going on, what has already been tested. Then the reports. Old prescriptions and scans are worth their weight in gold here, because they show how things have changed over time.
By the end you should know three things: what the findings mean, whether any further test is actually needed, and what the plan is. If a test can wait or is not needed at all, you will be told so.
Who this is for
Anyone with abnormal liver numbers on a blood test, a positive hepatitis screen, fatty liver on an ultrasound, jaundice, unexplained tiredness or swelling, or a family history of liver disease. It is also for people who have been told something vague elsewhere and want a second, slower explanation.
