You do not need to be a doctor to help. You need a bit of time, a group of people who would listen, or a willingness to ask.
Volunteer
Medical students, nurses, teachers and anyone good at explaining things are useful at awareness sessions. Tell us who you are, where you are based and how much time you can give. We will be honest about what is needed right now.
Host a talk
A school, office, mosque committee or neighbourhood club can invite us for a short session on hepatitis, fatty liver and safe medicine use, in Bengali. Give us a rough date, a venue and the number of people and we will take it from there.
Support a patient
Some patients cannot afford tests or treatment. If you would like to help, contact the foundation first so we can tell you what is currently needed and how your contribution is recorded. Please do not send money based on this page alone.
Tell someone
The simplest help of all: if you know someone with a positive hepatitis test or a fatty liver report who is frightened and doing nothing, send them this website or our phone number.
